Willy Pete’s Chocolates ships within the continental United States year-round via USPS.
Hot Weather Shipping
Hot Weather Alert! Please use discretion when ordering chocolate during the warm/hot summer months! Willy Pete’s Chocolates is NOT responsible for melted product. Please be aware of our shipping policies before placing your order.
We will NOT refund for melted chocolates.
Please use discretion when ordering items such as chocolates that have the potential to melt during the warmer months of the year. Shipping these chocolates during the warmer months or to warm climates can potentially damage them. We cannot guarantee the condition of melt-able chocolates and will not be held responsible for damages when shipped under these circumstances. We do include an optional ice pack on orders that have the potential to melt. We highly recommend that you choose a cold pack with your order when you checkout.
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR MELTED PRODUCTS. PLEASE USE DISCRETION WHEN ORDERING IN SUMMER MONTHS WHEN THERE ARE HIGH TEMPERATURES.
We also reserve the right to hold your package if ordered on a Thursday or Friday and ship it out on the following Monday – Wednesday. We do not want your items sitting in a hot truck or warehouse over the weekend.
Our website sales ship via USPS Priority Shipping (1-3 Business Days). You will receive an email from Willy Pete’s Chocolates when your order has shipped and receive a tracking number. (You may need to check your spam folder). Our prices fluctuate with USPS prices, we do not markup shipping costs.

International or Retailer orders ship via UPS, and are priced on a case by case basis. We pass along shipping costs, we do not mark them up.
Stolen, Misplaced, or Lost Packages
Once an order has been shipped to the shipping address provided on your order Willy Pete’s Chocolates is not responsible for stolen, misplaced, or lost packages. Willy Pete’s Chocolates will not handle any claims for lost or damaged items. Those claims need to be submitted by the buyer directly to the post office.
If a package is returned do to incorrect or insufficient address provided to Willy Pete’s Chocolates, additional shipping charges will be paid by the buyer to re-ship. Willy Pete’s Chocolates is not responsible for incorrect addresses.
In case we are Out of Stock or an Item has been discontinued
While we do our best at keeping all items on hand, there is a chance that what you are ordering may be out of stock. If this is the case, Willy Pete’s Chocolates reserves the right to hold your order until the following Monday (or Tuesday if there is a holiday) and ship it out when the item(s) is/are back in stock. If this is the case, you will be contacted by e-mail. On the rare occasion an item we have on our website may be discontinued. Willy Pete’s Chocolates reserves the right to take this item off your order and refund you for it.
Willy Pete’s Chocolates does not offer additional insurance for any International Shipments. It is up to the buyer to request any added insurance they may want on their order prior to the shipment leaving our facility.
VAT Tax is paid by the buyer at customs. Willy Pete’s Chocolates is not responsible for VAT Tax, that is paid by the buyer at the current customs rate.
Any stolen, lost or damaged product due to customs mishandling is not the responsibility of Willy Pete’s Chocolate Co. Buyer must file a claim with UPS and send in all photos and documentation. Willy Pete’s Chocolates will provide shipping photos prior to it leaving our facility.
